Ruthless...

time management Feb 10, 2023

I'm being ruthless at the moment.

Ruthless with the training I consume. I have so much available to me and much of it free and probably worth watching. I'm prioritising what I'm paying for and a couple of other mentors whose content I truly value.

Ruthless with my inbox. Only what's absolutely necessary for me to do my job well. All the "I should read that" emails that I never get to and just end up deleting, unsubscribed.

Ruthless with where I spend my time and who I spend it with. The quality of our lives is determined by the quality of our relationships (I think Esther Perel said that). That includes the relationship we have with ourselves. Self care, family, close friends and clients I love working with are my priority.

Ruthless with my headspace, with what's going into my head and how much of it. This one's harder because I still find myself going down rabbit holes online. Those platforms are designed that way and they're high performing. It's fun sometimes but not always the best use of my time nor headspace.

I'm keeping my word of the year close to my heart as I strategise and make decisions.

My word of the year, my focus for 2023, is Simplify. And I'm having to be ruthless, with the right things, to accomplish that. 😁

I invite you to consider being ruthless as well.

What do you need to be ruthless with in your life and your business?

Are you focused and making the best use of your time?

What are your dreams and what's getting in the way of those?

Is it time to be better?
